Babies/Children's Book Recs?

Dropping in with an important question for everyone.
Since both my brothers are... significantly less interested in reading, I am taking it upon myself to compile the libraries for these babies. I've been making a list, but I'm not even scratching the surface.

List your favorite new and old babies/children's books. Here is what I have:

It's a mix of older kids and baby materials. I'm forgetting many books from my own childhood, and I'd like a bigger list for sure.

Last year I was also in the contest. I did not mass message, time stamp (unless I added something of substance), or make any Plugz for myself. I also did not vote for myself.

Bear this in mind when the time comes to vote. I'm a nice, classy, respectable lady.

Did I mention I don't start shit with people for page views? Also, I am not preemptively threatening to bitch-slap all of you, like a certain lady I know.

ETA: I am not doing this anymore. As soon as I begin to feel that a contest is more about how I look than my blogging abilities or personality, I'm out.

Apparently it is impossible to hold a competition here that doesn't focus primarily on how much T&A I can expose in the name of "beauty".

If I had felt that this was an issue last year, I would not have done it. There was far less emphasis placed on eyelash curling and bikinis and more on personality. It's sad that it has come down to this.

Bad Eyesight and Pubic Hair

Surely there's someone who has figured out a way around this? I guess you perfect-vision gifted people don't have to consider what it's like to try and shave when the only things you can see clearly are less than elbow length away.

Often times, I think I did okay until I get out of the shower and put my glasses back on. "Shit, that looks terrible."

Has anyone figured out how to combat this issue?

ETA: I can't do contacts. The eye doctor swears I don't have astigmatism, but when I blink too hard one of them falls out. LAME.

Someone Explain Theme Images to Me?

I just finished making this theme for someone, and when I tried to export it, it told me I can't submit a theme unless the images are hosted on Xanga.
Ok, I get that.

BUT.

How the hell do I get them into the theme? There's no source code. Please explain, or find someone who can?

I'm not used to doing the physical labor aspect of my job anymore. I usually just have somebody else do it. I stay in the basement and file paperwork and shit, most of the time.

It's been two years since I had to actually go out to the buildings and do inventory on my own, or move computers.

Another shitty part is that we usually have inventory finished wayyy earlier in the summer than we do this year, meaning, it's 90 degrees outside, and probably close to 100 inside the closed up classrooms.

Today was brutal. My shirt was all wet and my bra was soaked. My face is still all red, and I am suddenly exhausted and feel kind of nauseous.

All I did was go from room to room, swiping barcodes with the scanner, for an hour and 45 minutes, yet I feel like I ran a couple miles.

Damn. Who says IT people have it easiest?
