30 weeks. So far I've been right in line with the newsletters from Baby Center, and this week is no different. Of course I'm having trouble sleeping, and I keeping bumping into things, because a) I have always had not-so-great depth perception (you should see the photo album my dad made of my various awful park jobs when I had my temps) and b) I can't see my feet.

My bathroom is tiny. Like, maybe two feet of open floor across the middle. Here is the space between the toilet and the sink:

The issue I have with the bathroom is that I don't really fit in there anymore. I stick out far enough to sit on the toilet and brush the sink with my giant "midsection". I have to sit sideways on the can if I want to be comfortable, and being comfortable is important. It's not just the toilet either. I can't turn to the left in the shower, because it's narrow and I bump into the wall. I do actually fit at the sink, but only because I have to stand on a stool to see into the mirror, and the bottom of my stomach clears the counter top. However, my kid might be born with the imprint of a faucet on his or her forehead.

I also have insane heartburn. I'm pretty sure I've got some sort of esophagus problem which I inherited from my dad. Acid reflux and a weird issue with food not going down on its own. I haven't gone to a doctor for it because the Rolaids were keeping it under control. But then I got pregnant, and hit the third trimester. Now my chest and throat are on fire, and last night I fell asleep clutching the Ultra Strength 1000 Super Size bottle of Tums, having consumed over the recommended dosage, meaning I took 8,000 milligrams of antacid.

Other than those few thankfully minor issues, and an obsession with sour fruit drinks (hello Cran-Raspberry Apple Juice!) I am totally fine. Rolling with the punches, even though I want to throw a tantrum because no one is giving me a baby shower. Seriously, who does that? My former best friend said I already had one the first time I got pregnant, so it would be in poor taste to have another. Let's not forget the fact that it was five years ago, and that I didn't end up with a forever baby.

Isn't it amazing what 10 years can do to a person's looks? I personally prefer the older Shaun Morgan, but without the piercings and greasy hair.

I have never purchased clothes for my dog. Now that you know this, I'm still embarrassed to admit that my dog is gathering a wardrobe.

The doggy tie was cute. The Santa outfit was a gift from my sister last year. The coat came from my mother. Yesterday my neighbor told me that Gizmo looks like a sausage stuffed into a casing wearing his new coat:

I disagree, but I have almost always believed that he is cute, so I may be biased.

Who wouldn't find that adorable?

Not Moving Forward

We are not moving forward. I am, but he is not. He quit his job and failed/dropped his four classes for last semester, and says that selling certain things is his new job. I don't know what happened. But I am withering with him. I need stimulation. Not just sexual, though that is a big issue. I need conversation of a certain caliber. Not just talking about Bucks of Tecomate, guns, and drugs. I like to talk about about books and things I read on the Internet. I suspect most of things are kind of above his head. He doesn't read much, at all. I want to make funny jokes that aren't just about sex and black people. Funny, smart jokes.

I can't have it both ways. I was reading a pulse from someone on here, and one specific thing they said made me realize exactly what I was missing out on. It also turned me on, and that is rare as far as the written word goes.

I don't know what to do.

Problems with Xanga

Ever since I got my personal URL, I've been having all kinds of problems.

First of all, I can see a link in my Footprints that is not working. When I want to see what post someone has visited, I click that link, and it is messed up. It should not have "www.www.seebeewrite.com/"etc, as an address. I don't know if other people are getting the error page like I am, but it's annoying.

Another major issue is my inability to view my own photos. I get something like this whenever I try to look at the comments or see the picture in a bigger size:
"Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete."

I already went to the Help forum, but it hasn't been addressed and I'm pissed at the possibility that other people are experiencing this when they visit my blog.
